Meet Mrs. Schwartz . . .
Hello! I'm so glad you've joined us at the woods-- I'm Mrs. Schwartz! This will be my 25th year of teaching second grade, and my 15th year at Adams Central. I truly love teaching second graders. They are at such a neat stage of their lives--new readers and writers, and so much fun to teach!
My classroom theme reflects where we live-so I feel right at home each day! We live by a woods, and our family loves spending time outdoors at our pond, swimming, fishing, listening to frogs, or looking for deer and other wild critters! My hobbies include spending time with my family, biking and hiking, shopping, traveling, chasing after my busy family, reading, and being involved at our church. I sure love my family who are pictured above-my husband Denny and children Conner (19) and Makenna (16)!
These are a few of my favorite things...
Colors: blush pink and aqua
Beverage: Water, Coke Zero, & COFFEE!!
Candy: Peanut M&M's, Twizzlers, Snickers, mints
Season: Summer and Fall
Holiday: Christmas
Scent: Birthday cake, strawberry pound cake
Flower: Hydrangea
Food Restaurant: Any Mexican, Red Lobster, Galley, Chic-fil-a
Authors: Tomie DePaola, Ron Roy

I do not hunt, but my family does, so once a year on Fall Break, I dress in camo and go out and sit in a tree stand with them!
My family loves to hike!
My husband and I work with the youth at our church. The mission trip we take to Big Laurel, Kentucky every summer is an important part of my life!
My kids show pigs in 4-H at the State Fair and in other summer shows.
My mom and dad, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews.... I am so blessed that my family all lives in Adams County, too!
My son graduated from AC and goes to Purdue now.
